Our Process is Designed to Provide a Comprehensive Analysis and Cost Savings
TEST PREPARATION
We start by completing an engineering study to ensure that your unique plant requirements are properly addressed. The study includes a P&ID review, test population evaluation, site-specific database, test plan selection, and heat rate modeling—all to be completed prior to testing.
COMPREHENSIVE REPORTING
After we review every data capture, result, and associated notes, our team will prepare a comprehensive written report that includes result classification (leaking vs. tight), internal damage assessment, efficiency & fuel cost analysis, repair recommendations, external observations & potential safety concerns, and valve trending & savings analysis.
ON-SITE TESTING
After a kick-off meeting and safety training, we’ll conduct a site walkdown to identify valve locations and temporarily remove insulation. Next, we’ll place identification tags and photograph each item. Then acoustic testing can begin, taking into account operating conditions, location, accessibility, and criticality. Our acoustic test methods include signature comparison, differential signature, direct comparison and time-sweep signatures. We’ll review your data daily to ensure accuracy and gather additional data if needed. Upon test completion, we’ll perform an exit meeting and present our preliminary results.
